Why BCA?
At UCLA, the conversation around finance careers rarely extends beyond investment banking and consulting. Students hear about the same two paths so often that many are funneled into them without ever learning about the niche and emerging sectors that might suit them better.
Recruiting is also becoming less predictable every year. Students who cast a wider net, both in the skills they build and the roles they pursue, are better positioned to succeed. BCA gives members the room to explore, the resources to find roles that match their own criteria, and the accountability to stay on track throughout the recruiting process.
What Do We Look For?
BCA welcomes students from all majors who are passionate, dedicated, and consistent in the work they take on within their teams. We currently support members recruiting for:

- Corporate & commercial banking
- Trading & fixed income
- Portfolio management
- Quant & data science
As we grow, we will continue to make room for new interests, building our members' intended paths into our programming while broadening their horizons along the way.
